Restylane — PECHE Clinic, Gangnam Station
A flexible hyaluronic acid filler that stretches and springs back with your lips' movement · We offer Restylane Kysse · Right by Gangnam Station Exit 4
Restylane
Restylane is a hyaluronic acid (HA) filler brand made by Galderma of Switzerland. Hyaluronic acid is a thread-like substance that lives in your skin holding water; to make it last, the threads are tied to one another (cross-linking). The brand holds two technologies: one that forms firm particles for support (NASHA), and one that weaves a soft, particle-free mesh for flexibility (OBT). PECHE Clinic offers the one made for lips — Restylane Kysse.

When to Consider It
- Thin lips give your face a harsh, severe look
- Lip volume has thinned with age and vertical lines have appeared
- Your lip line has blurred, so lip products bleed
- You've hesitated over filler for fear it would look unnatural
- You want subtle, natural volume that doesn't show when you talk and smile
If your concern is hollowed cheeks or smile lines rather than the lips, a filler with different support strength may fit better. We decide together, based on your assessment results.
Restylane's Two Technologies
| Technology | How it's made | Character |
|---|---|---|
| NASHA | Hyaluronic acid strands of even length, bonded only minimally, set into firm granules | The particles brace each other for strong support — defined contours |
| OBT | Strands of varying lengths woven like a net — no granules | Spreads softly between the tissue, stretching and springing back with movement |
Restylane Kysse, the product PECHE Clinic offers, is a lip-dedicated filler made with OBT. Lips move all day long — so what decides how natural the result looks is less a firm hold than the flexibility to follow the movement.

How It's Done
1. Consultation and design We check your lip thickness, left–right balance, and the look you want (volume-led or line-led).
2. Treatment plan We go over the injection amount and points, and the changes to expect — including the limits.
3. Numbing cream Applied and left for 20–30 minutes.
4. Injection The product is placed in small amounts along the lip's grain, with the amount adjusted as we check the left–right balance.
5. Finish The injection sites are tidied and the session ends.
Results and Recovery
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Ingredient and action | Cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) — a flexible, particle-free gel (OBT technology) |
| Product we offer | Restylane Kysse (lip-dedicated) |
| When results show | Volume is visible right at injection — lips swell readily, so the look after the swelling settles is closer to the real result |
| Can it be corrected? | Yes — dissolvable and adjustable with the hyaluronic acid–dissolving enzyme (hyaluronidase) |
| Pain | One sting as the needle first enters; after that, it feels less like pain and more like heavy pressure and fullness inside the lips as the product goes in |
| Pain control | The product contains an anesthetic ingredient · numbing cream is applied before treatment |
| Downtime | Lip swelling and bruising can occur — how much and how long varies by person, so we walk you through it on the day |
| Spacing from other treatments | After filler, radiofrequency lifting at least a month later · ultrasound lifting 1–2 months · laser lifting 1–2 weeks |
The goal of lip filler isn't bigger lips — it's lips that move naturally when you talk and smile. Placing small amounts at a time and checking the balance is what prevents overdone volume.
Expected Reactions and Possible Side Effects
Common, temporary reactions — part of the normal response to injection:
- Lip swelling and bruising can occur — how much and how long varies by person, and we walk you through what to expect on the day of treatment
Anything beyond this is uncommon. If a reaction lasts longer than expected or worsens, contact us and we'll check it with you.
What We Check Beforehand
If any of these apply to you, let us know during your consultation. We postpone or adjust the timing.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Inflammation around the lips or mouth, or a tendency to cold sores on the lips (oral herpes) — the needle stimulus can bring one on, so we set the timing by your condition
- Aspirin or blood thinners — bruising can be heavier, so tell us in advance and we'll plan for it
- Lip filler remaining from a previous treatment — we check how much remains and plan around it
- A lifting treatment planned — radiofrequency lifting at least a month after filler, ultrasound 1–2 months after. The injected filler needs to settle into the tissue before heat goes in. If the lifting hasn't happened yet, having it first and the filler after — even on the same day — is the easier order.
How PECHE Clinic Does It
We treat by standards built on 90,000+ documented treatments. The lips move more than anywhere else on the face, so how deep and how finely the product is divided decides how natural it looks. PECHE physicians all work from injection standards built on over 90,000 treatments.
For lips, we use a product made for lips. Put a volume filler straight into lips and the movement can turn awkward. PECHE Clinic carries several filler brands, and for lips we use a flexible product made specifically for them. Matching the character to the spot is the first criterion.
We open the genuine product in front of you. With injectables, authenticity is the baseline of safety. The filler used in your treatment is opened in front of you, so you can confirm which product is being prepared and in what amount. You can also watch the preparation through the glass wall from the waiting area.

We recommend only the amount you need. With lips, even a small difference in amount changes the impression. We recommend starting small and topping up if needed, rather than filling in one go — and we don't push same-day payment or packages. You're welcome to come in just for a consultation.
Pricing
The cost of Restylane Kysse depends on the amount used (cc). We check your lips and the look you want in your consultation, then give you a quote.

FAQ
Q1. Who performs the treatment? A: PECHE physicians who all work to the same injection standards, built from over 90,000 documented treatments. Lip filler results turn on judgments of depth, amount, and left–right balance — made according to these standards, not by feel.
Q2. I'm worried lip filler will look unnatural. A: Unnatural results mostly come from too much product, or a firm product in a spot that needs flexibility. With a flexible, lip-dedicated product placed in small amounts while the balance is checked, the way you talk and smile stays as it is. We recommend topping up over filling in one go.
Q3. Can it be reversed if I don't like the result? A: Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved and adjusted with the dissolving enzyme (hyaluronidase). Having a way back if the shape or amount isn't right is one of HA filler's advantages.
Q4. Can I have other areas done with Restylane too? A: PECHE Clinic currently offers the lip-dedicated line (Kysse) from the Restylane range. Spots that need support — cheeks, smile lines — are treated with the other filler brands we carry, and we decide the right character for each area together in your consultation.
Q5. Can I just come in for a consultation first? A: Yes. You can come in for a lip assessment and consultation, then go home and think it over. Decide after you've heard the expected changes, the limits, and the amount you'd need — we won't push same-day payment.
