Re2O — PECHE Clinic, Gangnam Station
A human-tissue skin booster — tissue derived from human dermis, processed into fine particles and placed in the dermis · A material designed for new collagen to settle around each particle · Full face and neck · Right by Gangnam Station Exit 4
Re2O
Re2O — officially Elravie Re2O — is a human-tissue skin booster: dermal tissue donated by human donors has its cells removed, leaving only the underlying matrix — the mesh of collagen and elastin that fills the inside of skin — which is then processed into fine particles (a powder). Because the cells are removed, the material contains no living cells and no stem cells.
Your own skin loses this matrix with age. The catch is that collagen-making cells need something to hold onto before they can work — when the matrix thins and gaps open between the fibers, the cells may still be there, but with nowhere to attach, collagen production slows.
Re2O places particles of that same material into the dermis (the skin's inner layer beneath the epidermis), rebuilding the places to hold onto. Each particle becomes a small structure that stays where it's placed; the collagen-making cells that already live in your dermis attach to it, move in, and start weaving new collagen right there. Re2O brings the material and the place — your own cells do the work. This is the mechanism observed in cell, tissue, and animal studies.

When to Consider It
- Your skin feels empty and dull from within, with fine lines suddenly multiplying
- Even with regular care, your skin feels like it has no supporting strength
- The skin around your pores is loosening and texture looks rough
- Horizontal fine lines on the neck bother you
If lost volume is the main concern, a volume-filling treatment may come first; if a loosened contour is the concern, a lifting treatment may. Your assessment sorts out which one applies.

For Thin Areas like the Under-Eyes, We Use Revix
The under-eye area cannot be treated with Re2O. That's not the clinic's choice — it's the nature of the material: Re2O is a powder-form particle, which isn't suited to very thin, delicate areas like under the eyes.
So for the under-eyes and other very thin, delicate areas, we use Revix instead. It's the same human-dermis-derived family, but Revix comes as a liquid that spreads evenly even in thin areas. Re2O is a powder, Revix a liquid — they go into different places, and neither is better than the other.
How It's Done
1. Cleansing and assessment Makeup comes off, and a 3D MetaVu scan records your texture, pores, and fine lines under different light sources.
2. Numbing cream Applied and left for 30–40 minutes. When the motorized injector is used, pain is lighter and the wait can shorten to 20–30 minutes.
3. Injection Hand injection is the standard: the product is placed into the dermis, divided across the areas set at your assessment. If you wish, the motorized injector (X-Injector) can be added as an option — it places a set amount in even portions, with cooling, easing both the pain you feel and the marks left afterward.
4. Soothing and aftercare guidance The injection sites are soothed, and we go over when you can wash your face and resume your skincare.

Results and Recovery
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Ingredient and form | Human dermal tissue with the cells removed, processed into fine particles — supplied as a 150 mg syringe |
| Injection layer and areas | The dermis — full face and neck (for very thin areas such as the under-eyes, we use Revix) |
| Purpose | Refill the declined matrix, with new collagen forming around the particles → interior density, texture, fine lines (not a treatment that fills volume) |
| When results show | Gradual — cells need time to move into the particles and weave collagen. A clinical study that mixed Re2O with other ingredients, injected once, and followed up to 20 weeks reported improvement in density, firmness, moisture, pore, and fine-line measures (a 20-person study · individual results vary) |
| Sessions and spacing | 3 sessions at 3–4 week intervals as the base · maintenance once every 6 months after |
| Pain | Hand injection = a sting as the needle enters, and a heavy, dull pressure as the product moves into the dermis · motorized injector = the chill of the cooled plate lands first, then a light pull as the skin is drawn gently in and fine needles stamp shallow, brief stings |
| Pain control | Numbing cream for 30–40 minutes (20–30 with the motorized injector) · tell us what you feel during the session and we adjust the pace and areas |
| Downtime | Hand injection = raised bumps and redness, usually 2–3 days · motorized injector = usually settled in 1–2 days |
| Aftercare | Water-only rinse from 3–4 hours after treatment (the time it takes the needle holes to close) · cleansing and makeup from the next morning · put off saunas and hard exercise for a few days |
Expected Reactions and Possible Side Effects
Common, temporary reactions — part of the normal response to injection:
- With hand injection: raised bumps and redness, usually for 2–3 days
- With the motorized injector: these usually settle within 1–2 days
Anything beyond this is uncommon. If a reaction lasts longer than expected or worsens, contact us and we'll check it with you.
What We Check Beforehand
We do not proceed during pregnancy, possible pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
If any of these apply to you, let us know during your consultation. We adjust the timing or the approach.
- Keloid-prone skin (scars that heal raised and thickened)
- Inflammation or wounds in the treatment area, or widespread active acne
- Aspirin or blood thinners — needle marks and bruising can last longer
- Recent filler or skin boosters — the spacing is confirmed in your consultation
How PECHE Clinic Does It
Matrix concern or volume concern — we sort that out first. The feeling that your skin "has no strength" can come from the matrix (density, texture), or from lost volume or sagging. The 3D MetaVu records your texture, pores, and fine lines, and we decide together, based on the measurements, whether this treatment fits your concern.

We're honest about what to expect. We tell you first what this treatment does (the groundwork of texture, fine lines, inner firmness, and density) and what it doesn't (filling hollowed volume, pulling a loosened contour tight). No same-day payment pressure, no package push — you're welcome to come in just for a consultation.
Pricing

FAQ
Q1. Who performs the treatment? A: PECHE physicians who all work to the same standards, built from over 90,000 documented treatments. The areas and injection plan are set by your assessment results and these standards — not by feel — and the standards stay the same whoever treats you.
Q2. Will volume fill out, like with filler? A: No. This isn't a treatment that creates volume the moment it's injected — it refills the skin's inner matrix to work on texture, firmness, and density. If lost volume is your main concern, a volume-filling treatment may come first.
Q3. There are several products derived from human dermis — how do I choose? A: They share the same origin and the same goal; what differs is the product's form and how it's placed. More than which product is "better," what matters is how it goes into your skin — so we decide together at your assessment, from your skin's thickness, sensitivity, and treatment history.
Q4. It's someone else's tissue — is that okay? A: The donated tissue goes through processing that removes the cells and the elements that could trigger an immune response, and the processor is registered as a tissue bank — an institution certified to handle human tissue. The material contains no living cells; the cells that work inside the particles are your own skin's cells.
Q5. Can I have it under my eyes? A: Not with Re2O. It's a powder-form particle material, which doesn't suit an area as thin and delicate as the under-eyes. For the under-eyes and other thin areas, we use Revix — a liquid product in the same family.
Q6. What should I look for when choosing a clinic? A: Three things. First, whether they measure to sort out which concern you have — matrix, volume, or sagging. Second, whether they match the material to the area (powder particle vs. liquid) and explain your placement options (hand injection, motorized injector). Third, whether the clinic is an easy distance, since the change builds over sessions.
