SkinVive

SkinVive is a skin booster that takes thread-like hyaluronic acid (HA), ties the threads together into a net (cross-linking), and lays it wide and shallow in the upper part of the dermis. Un-cross-linked hyaluronic acid spreads through the dermis, fills moisture quickly, and breaks down in about 1–2 weeks. Cross-linked hyaluronic acid stays where it's placed, holding moisture, and lasts longer. SkinVive is the second kind — it's designed for staying power rather than speed of hydration. So along with hydration, it gives a shallow cushioning effect that supports fine lines and small surface unevenness from within. Its purpose and depth differ from ordinary fillers, which shape contours in the deep layers.

Side-by-side skin cross-sections — SkinVive's cross-linked hyaluronic acid resting like a cushion in the shallow dermis, and a hydration-glow booster's un-cross-linked hyaluronic acid spreading wide and gradually dispersing

▲ SkinVive (cross-linked HA) stays in the shallow layer; hydration-glow boosters (un-cross-linked HA) spread wide — a difference in how they stay, not in volume, and not a ranking

When to Consider It

  • Crinkly fine lines on the cheeks and rough texture bother you
  • You want lasting hydration and glow for parched skin
  • An un-cross-linked hydration-glow booster didn't last long enough for you — cross-linked hyaluronic acid stays in place longer
  • You want shallow dips supported subtly, without an obvious change

If your goal is restoring deep volume loss or defining contours, the regular filler family may fit better; if skin repair itself is the goal, the repair-signal family may. We decide together, based on your assessment results.

Cross-sections comparing three skin booster families injected into the dermis — a nutrient-blended watery formula of un-cross-linked hyaluronic acid seeping wide, thick PN staying as one mass, and solid PDLLA particles scattered through the dermis

▲ From left: a nutrient-blended hydration-glow family (un-cross-linked HA) · a repair family (PN) · a collagen-stimulating family (PDLLA particles — encouraging collagen formation around the particles) · The colors are for telling them apart; the real differences are thickness and ingredients. Not a ranking — different concerns suit different families

How It's Done

1. 3D skin analysis A 3D MetaVu scan examines your texture, pores, fine lines, and tone under different light sources. We add what you tell us in the consultation and decide on the treatment.

2. Treatment plan Looking at the scan together, we go over the areas, the number of sessions, and the changes to expect — including the limits.

3. Numbing cream Applied and left to absorb for 30–40 minutes.

4. Authenticity check, then treatment The genuine product is opened in front of you, so you can confirm the product and the amount — then it's injected wide across the shallow layer of the dermis.

5. Soothing care The injection sites are soothed to finish. The small raised bumps at the injection points settle within 1–2 days.

Results and Recovery

Item Details
Ingredient and action Cross-linked hyaluronic acid — holds moisture while staying in the shallow dermis, supporting texture and fine lines
Injection layer The part of the dermis closest to the surface — wide and shallow (different from deep-layer contour fillers)
When results show A hydrated feeling for the first few days (as the surface settles) → hydration and texture changes within 1–2 weeks
How long it lasts Stays in the shallow dermis longer than un-cross-linked hyaluronic acid — around 6 months per session as a baseline (individual results vary) · we time the next session together based on how your skin is doing
Sessions 3 sessions at 3–4 week intervals as the base → maintenance every 3–6 months (the shared skin-booster principle, adjusted for this product's staying power)
Pain The sting of the needle going in, plus a dull pressure as the product spreads
Pain control Numbing cream (30–40 minutes) as standard · Air Nox (inhaled calming while you remain conscious) and local anesthetic available
Downtime Needle marks and redness for 1–2 days · raised bumps for 1–2 days · bruises, if any, for 3–7 days
Aftercare A light water-only rinse from 3–4 hours after · cleanser and makeup gently from the next morning

Adding moisture is what it shares with the other hydration treatments; staying in place, tied by cross-links, is what sets it apart. It's a treatment that aims for a subtle result that lasts.

Expected Reactions and Possible Side Effects

Common, temporary reactions — part of the normal response to injection:

  • Needle marks and redness for 1–2 days
  • Small raised bumps at the injection points for 1–2 days
  • Bruises, if any, fading within 3–7 days

Anything beyond this is uncommon. If a reaction lasts longer than expected or worsens, contact us and we'll check it with you.

What We Check Beforehand

If any of these apply to you, let us know during your consultation. We postpone or adjust the timing.

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Inflammation or active acne in the treatment area — we proceed after it clears
  • Keloid-prone skin (scars that heal raised and thickened)
  • Aspirin or blood thinners — bruising can be heavier, so tell us in advance and we'll plan for it
  • Planning a lifting treatment as well — on the same day, the lifting goes first and SkinVive after. If you've had SkinVive first, wait 2–3 weeks before radiofrequency lifting and at least 2–4 weeks before microwave lifting. Hyaluronic acid is heat-sensitive: strong heat before it has settled breaks it down early.

How PECHE Clinic Does It

We treat by standards built on 90,000+ documented treatments. This treatment lays the product evenly across a shallow layer, so a consistent injection depth is what makes the result even. Area-by-area injection standards built from over 90,000 treatments mean every PECHE physician works to the same criteria — whoever treats you.

The same parched look can have different causes. Whether the cause is moisture, dermal density, or hollowing changes which family fits. The 3D scan shows your texture, pores, fine lines, and contours; we add the symptoms you describe and decide together whether SkinVive is the right fit. If it isn't, we point you to the family that is.

▲ We look at the measurements together

We open the genuine product in front of you and show you the amount. With injectables, what goes in and how much is the baseline of trust. The genuine product is opened in front of you, so you can see for yourself which product is being prepared and in what amount.

Our prep room is behind glass. You can watch treatment preparation and hygiene management through the glass wall from the waiting area.

We only recommend what you need. We tell you first what this treatment does (moisture, texture, subtle support for shallow dips) and what it doesn't (deep hollows, defined contours, skin repair itself). No same-day payment pressure, no package push — you're welcome to come in just for a consultation.

FAQ

Q1. Who performs the treatment? A: PECHE physicians who all work to the same area-by-area injection standards, built from over 90,000 documented treatments. Because this treatment lays product evenly across a shallow layer, consistency of injection depth determines the result — and that is set by your assessment results and these standards, not by feel. The same standards apply across physicians and sessions.

Q2. I heard it's licensed as a filler — how is it different from filler? A: The license classification is indeed filler, but the purpose and depth differ. Regular fillers build contour and volume in the deep layers; SkinVive is laid wide in the shallow dermis to work on moisture, texture, and fine lines. The goal is a change in skin quality, not a change in the shape of your face.

Q3. How is it different from hydration injections? A: The form of the hyaluronic acid differs. Un-cross-linked HA spreads wide, fills moisture quickly, and breaks down in about 1–2 weeks; SkinVive's cross-linked HA stays in place, holding moisture, and lasts longer. The choice comes down to whether you need the fast-filling kind or the long-staying kind.

Q4. Can I wear makeup the next day? A: Yes — color makeup gently from the next morning. Needle marks and redness last about 1–2 days, and a light water-only rinse is fine from 3–4 hours after treatment.

Q5. Can I just come in for a consultation first? A: Yes. You're welcome to come in just for the assessment and consultation, then leave. Decide after you've heard whether your concern is on the moisture side or the volume and repair side, and how far this treatment reaches. We won't push extra sessions or ask for same-day payment.
