NewArti — PECHE Clinic, Gangnam Station
A hydrating injection that places one ingredient only — un-cross-linked hyaluronic acid — evenly through the skin's shallow dermis · Face · Right by Gangnam Station Exit 4
NewArti
NewArti is a hydrating injection that places a single ingredient — hyaluronic acid — into the shallow layer of the dermis, divided across many points. Hyaluronic acid is the substance that holds water in your skin; it declines with age, which is where dehydration beneath the surface and a parched look begin.
Hyaluronic acid is shaped like fine threads. Tie those threads to each other (cross-linking) and it becomes a gel that stays in one place; NewArti leaves them untied, so the liquid has no shape-holding force — it seeps into the dermis the moment it goes in and starts drawing water right there. That's why it creates no volume, and hydration comes first.

When to Consider It
- Your skin is shiny on the surface but tight underneath — dehydration beneath the surface
- Makeup starts to separate, and flakes stand out by the afternoon
- You don't want volume — just hydration and texture back
- You want moisture only, with no other ingredients added
What Un-cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid Does
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Ingredient | Hyaluronic acid, one ingredient · nothing else added |
| Cross-linked? | No (un-cross-linked) — it spreads and seeps in the moment it's placed |
| How long it stays | The injected hyaluronic acid itself stays in the dermis for about 1–2 weeks |
| What it leaves behind | While it stays, it holds water — and as it breaks down, its fragments signal the collagen-making cells, helping restore the skin's moisture environment. That change continues after the ingredient itself is absorbed |
| Volume | None — it has no shape-holding force |
Products whose hyaluronic acid threads are tied into a gel (cross-linked) are the stay-longer kind; un-cross-linked NewArti is the seep-fast, hydrate-first kind. Neither is better — they're for different goals.
How It's Done
1. Cleansing and assessment Makeup comes off, and a 3D MetaVu scan records your texture and fine lines under different light sources.
2. Numbing cream Because the product is placed across the whole face, numbing cream is applied and left for 20–30 minutes.

3. Injector placement It's placed with an automated injector — you can choose between two injectors, DermaShine and X-Injector, in your consultation. The device lifts the skin slightly to hold it steady while several needles enter at the same depth, so little of the watery liquid leaks out through the needle holes.
4. Soothing and aftercare guidance After soothing care, we go over when you can wash your face and wear makeup, and what to watch for.

Results and Recovery
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Target | The shallow layer of the dermis |
| Treatment areas | The whole face — including the cheeks and eye area, where dryness shows most |
| Amount per session | One 2.5 cc vial covers the whole face as the standard |
| When results show | Hydration within 1–2 weeks · smoother texture and softer-looking fine lines build as sessions repeat |
| Sessions and spacing | 3 sessions at 3–4 week intervals as the base · after that, the next session comes when the hydration starts to fade |
| How long it lasts | After completing 3 sessions, the moisture and texture improvement carries on for about 2–3 months (individual results vary) |
| Pain | The sting of the needles and a dull pressure as the product spreads · a watery liquid, so the push against the tissue is on the milder side |
| Pain control | Numbing cream for 20–30 minutes as standard · if you're sensitive to pain, mixing in a small amount of anesthetic (lidocaine), or Air Nox — an inhaled calming option you stay conscious through — can be discussed in your consultation |
| Downtime | Raised bumps at the injection points for 1–2 days · needle marks and redness for 1–2 days · bruises, if any, for 3–7 days |
| Aftercare | Water-only rinse from 3–4 hours after treatment (the time the needle holes take to close) · cleanser and makeup from the next morning · put off saunas and steam rooms (anything that makes you sweat heavily) for 3 days to a week — heat feeds the redness |
If you're having a lifting treatment the same day, the lifting goes first. The heat-based treatment finishes, the skin settles, and then the product goes in. The other way round, if you've had NewArti first, wait 2–3 weeks before radiofrequency lifting and 2–4 weeks before microwave treatment. Hyaluronic acid is heat-sensitive: strong heat before it has settled breaks it down early.
Expected Reactions and Possible Side Effects
Common, temporary reactions — part of the normal response to injection:
- Raised bumps at the injection points for 1–2 days
- Needle marks and redness for 1–2 days
- Bruises, if any, fading within 3–7 days
Anything beyond this is uncommon. If a reaction lasts longer than expected or worsens, contact us and we'll check it with you.
What We Check Beforehand
If any of these apply to you, let us know during your consultation. We adjust the timing or the approach.
- Aspirin or blood thinners — bruising can be heavier
- A history of allergy to anesthetics such as lidocaine
- Keloid-prone skin (scars that heal raised and thickened)
- An active flare of a skin condition such as herpes
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- If volume is what you want — this treatment creates none
How PECHE Clinic Does It
Our prep room is behind glass. You can watch preparation and hygiene management from the waiting area.

We check whether moisture is the answer first. Sometimes a parched look comes from lack of moisture; sometimes the skin has thinned or the texture itself has roughened. If the cause is different, adding water gives only a short-lived change. The 3D MetaVu records your texture and fine lines, and the cause is sorted out in the examination — then we decide together.
We're honest about what to expect. We tell you first what this treatment does (hydration, texture) and what it doesn't (volume, sagging), and we don't push same-day payment or session packages. You're welcome to come in just for a consultation.

FAQ
Q1. Who performs the treatment? A: PECHE physicians who all work to the same standards, built from over 90,000 documented treatments. Injection depth and distribution are set by your assessment results and these standards — not by feel — and the standards stay the same whoever treats you.
Q2. Is it placed by hand or with an injector? A: NewArti is placed with an injector. It's a very watery liquid that has to be laid evenly, at the same depth, across the whole face — which suits a method where the skin is lifted and held while several needles enter at the same depth. Some products are better placed by hand — the nature of the product decides how it goes in.
Q3. I have a lifting appointment — can I have both on the same day? A: Yes, and the lifting goes first. The heat-based treatment finishes, the skin settles, and the product goes in the same day. If you're planning both, mention it when you book and we'll arrange the order.
Q4. Is numbing cream enough to get through it? A: Numbing cream is the baseline. If you're sensitive, a small amount of lidocaine can be mixed in, or Air Nox added — and either way, tell us how it feels during the session and we adjust the pace.
Q5. What should I look for when choosing a clinic? A: Three things. First, whether they sort out if moisture is really the cause of your parched skin. Second, whether they have a placement method (an injector) that limits the loss of a watery product. Third, since you'll be coming three times, whether the clinic is an easy distance for you.
