Belotero — PECHE Clinic, Gangnam Station
A hyaluronic acid filler whose single gel mixes denser and looser weave, merging into the skin's own texture · Thin skin and fine lines · Right by Gangnam Station Exit 4
Belotero
Belotero is a hyaluronic acid (HA) filler brand made by Merz. Its core technology (CPM) builds a single gel that holds both densely woven and loosely woven regions — so when injected, it seeps in between the tissue and merges with the skin as one. That's why, even in thin-skinned spots and fine lines close to the surface, the risk of showing through or clumping stays low.

When to Consider It
- Fine, crinkly lines gather at your eyes and mouth when you smile
- Your under-eyes are hollowed and tired-looking, but your skin is thin enough to make filler feel risky
- You want shallow lines treated — the kind that need product close to the surface
- A previous filler showed through your skin or clumped
If deeply lost volume is the main concern, a filler with stronger support may fit better; if texture and moisture are the concern, the skin-booster family may. We decide together, based on your assessment results.
The Product Range
| Line | Texture | The kind of spot it's used for |
|---|---|---|
| Soft | Softest and most fluid | Shallow, fine lines at the eyes and mouth |
| Balance | Soft | Delicate volume — under-eye hollows, lip lines |
| Intense | Medium | Fuller lips, deep smile lines |
| Volume | Firm | Deep volume and support — the front of the cheeks and similar areas |
The closer to the surface, the softer the product; the deeper the volume, the firmer. The range above is the manufacturer's line-up — which product fits is decided together at your assessment, from the depth of the line and the area's condition.
How It's Done
1. 3D skin analysis A 3D MetaVu scan examines your lines, texture, and left–right balance under different light sources. Whether a line is a shallow expression line or a deep hollow is the basis for choosing the product line.
2. Treatment plan Looking at the scan together, we go over the areas, products, and amounts, and the changes to expect — including the limits.
3. Numbing cream Applied and left for 20–30 minutes.
4. Injection Following the direction of the line, small amounts go into the layer near the surface; deep volume goes into the deep layer. The amount is adjusted as we check the left–right balance.
5. Finish The injection sites are tidied and the session ends.
Results and Recovery
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Ingredient and action | Cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) — a structure mixing denser and looser weave (CPM) that seeps in between the tissue |
| Product range | Soft · Balance · Intense · Volume (softest first) — chosen by area |
| When results show | Visible right at injection — the shape settles as the swelling goes down |
| Texture character | It merges with the skin as one, so the risk of showing through or clumping in thin skin stays on the low side (individual results vary) |
| Can it be corrected? | Yes — dissolvable and adjustable with the hyaluronic acid–dissolving enzyme (hyaluronidase) |
| Pain | One sting as the needle first enters; after that, it's more a heavy sense of pressure and fullness than pain as the product moves in under the skin |
| Pain control | The product contains an anesthetic ingredient · numbing cream is applied before treatment |
| Downtime | Swelling and bruising can occur at the injection sites — how much and how long varies by area and person, so we walk you through it on the day |
| Spacing from other treatments | After filler, radiofrequency lifting at least a month later · ultrasound lifting 1–2 months · laser lifting 1–2 weeks |
Fine lines aren't erased by filling — the hollow beneath the line is supported so the line softens. The goal is for your expressions to stay while only the shadow fades.

Expected Reactions and Possible Side Effects
Common, temporary reactions — part of the normal response to injection:
- Swelling and bruising can occur at the injection sites — how much and how long varies by area and person, and we walk you through what to expect on the day of treatment
Anything beyond this is uncommon. If a reaction lasts longer than expected or worsens, contact us and we'll check it with you.
What We Check Beforehand
If any of these apply to you, let us know during your consultation. We postpone or adjust the timing.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Inflammation or wounds in the treatment area — we proceed after it clears
- Aspirin or blood thinners — bruising can be heavier, so tell us in advance and we'll plan for it
- Filler remaining from a previous treatment — we check how much remains and plan around it
- A lifting treatment planned — radiofrequency lifting at least a month after filler, ultrasound 1–2 months after. The injected filler needs to settle into the tissue before heat goes in. If the lifting hasn't happened yet, having it first and the filler after — even on the same day — is the easier order.
How PECHE Clinic Does It
We treat by standards built on 90,000+ documented treatments. The closer to the surface, the finer the judgment of depth and amount has to be. Area-by-area injection standards built from over 90,000 treatments mean every PECHE physician works to the same criteria — whoever treats you.
We plan from measurements. The 3D MetaVu examines your lines, texture, and balance under different light sources; we look at the screen together and set the product and the amount. The plan changes with whether it's a shallow expression line or a deep hollow.

We open the genuine product in front of you. With injectables, authenticity is the baseline of safety. The filler used in your treatment is opened in front of you, so you can confirm which product is being prepared and in what amount. You can also watch the preparation through the glass wall from the waiting area.

We recommend only the amount you need. Fine lines and under-eyes aren't spots that improve with more product. We carry several filler brands, choose the character that fits the spot, and recommend only what the area needs. We don't suggest same-day payment or packages — you're welcome to come in just for a consultation.
Pricing
The cost of Belotero depends on the area, the product, and the amount used (cc). We set the plan after your assessment and quote from there.

FAQ
Q1. Who performs the treatment? A: PECHE physicians who all work to the same area-by-area injection standards, built from over 90,000 documented treatments. Work in the layers near the surface demands especially fine judgment of depth and amount — made from your assessment results and these standards, not by feel.
Q2. My skin is thin — won't the filler show through? A: Belotero's character is to seep in and merge with the tissue, so the risk of showing through thin skin stays on the low side. That said, what matters as much as the gel's character is the injection depth and amount — so we confirm the area's condition during your assessment, and the closer to the surface, the softer the product and the smaller the amounts we use.
Q3. Can sensitive spots like the under-eyes be treated? A: The under-eye is thin-skinned and shadow-prone — a spot that needs delicate volume. We confirm how pronounced the hollow is and your skin's condition during your assessment, then decide together whether to proceed and with which product and amount. Depending on your condition, a different approach may fit better — and we'll tell you that too.
Q4. I've had filler clump before. A: We first check whether the previous filler remains and plan around it. Hyaluronic acid filler can be tidied with the dissolving enzyme first if needed, and setting the layer and amount to your assessment can help lower the clumping risk.
Q5. Can I just come in for a consultation first? A: Yes. You're welcome to come in just for the assessment and consultation, then leave. Decide after you've heard the expected changes, the limits, and the amount you'd need — we won't suggest extra areas or same-day payment.
