Potenza

Potenza is a microneedling RF treatment: fine microneedles enter down to the dermis, and radiofrequency (RF) energy is released at the depth the needles reach. Unlike methods that warm broadly from the surface, the energy acts directly at the target depth — handling narrow, deep targets like pores and scars right where they sit.

Cross-section of skin — several fine microneedles passing the epidermis into the dermis, with radiofrequency heat spreading around the needle tips

▲ The heat gathers at the depth the needles reach

When to Consider It

  • Enlarged pores that makeup can't cover
  • Depressed acne scars that stand out under certain lighting
  • Rough texture alongside aging signs like fine lines and slackening elasticity
  • Acne that recurs in the same spot, or small grainy bumps around the eyes

If sagging of the deeper muscle-covering layer (SMAS) is your main concern, ultrasound lifting may come first; scars bound tightly to their base are considered for pairing with a method that directly cuts the tissue beneath.

Scar and pore treatment has an order: calm active inflammation first, release scars tethered at the base, then have regenerative treatment, and leave pigment for last. Potenza's two combinations handle the regeneration stage.

It Runs in Two Combinations

Combination How the ingredient goes in Main concerns
Pore Tip + Klardie The ingredient applied to the surface seeps in through the channels the microneedles open — the needles go deeper and the RF works harder Enlarged pores · deeply depressed scars · rough texture · dull tone
Pumping Tip + Celexo Black Label Pushed in by pressure the instant the needles stamp and withdraw — gentler heat at a shallower depth, with the ingredient reaching the dermis Declining elasticity and texture · fine lines and other aging signs · early scars still carrying red marks

Pores, scars, and texture across the full face run on these two combinations. Either way, the needle-tip RF heat and the ingredient go in together.

How It's Done

1. 3D skin analysis A 3D MetaVu scan checks your pores, sebum, and texture under different light sources — the basis for choosing the combination and setting per-area intensity.

2. Treatment plan Looking at the scan screen together, we go over the combination, the areas, and the expected changes and limits.

3. Numbing cream After it's applied, we wait about 20 minutes for the Pore Tip combination and 30–40 minutes for the Pumping Tip combination.

4. Treatment The tip moves stamp by stamp, treating each area at its set depth and intensity. How the ingredient goes in follows the combination table above.

5. Soothing care The session closes with soothing care.

Results and Recovery

Item Details
How it works The microneedles' physical stimulus plus the needle-tip RF's heat — directly in the dermis
Main targets Pores · depressed acne scars · skin texture · elasticity, fine lines, and tone (by combination)
When results show Texture first; pores and scars over the 2–3 months collagen takes to fill in · the Pumping Tip combination's elasticity and texture build gradually from 2–3 weeks
Sessions and spacing Pore Tip combination: 3–5 sessions at 3–4 week intervals → then maintenance once every 6 months–1 year · Pumping Tip combination: 3 sessions at 3–4 week intervals → then maintenance every 3–6 months
Spacing other treatments Other treatments can follow from 3 weeks after — except a scar-releasing (cutting) treatment done the same day
Pain Several fine needles land at once — a sting like a hot stamp pressed firmly down · right after the needles enter, a flash of heat spreads briefly beneath the skin
Pain control Numbing cream before starting · tell us how it feels mid-session and we adjust per-area intensity
Downtime Needle marks and heat bring redness — Pore Tip combination 1–3 days · Pumping Tip combination 1–2 days · swelling is rare, and tends to settle within 1–3 days when it does occur
Aftercare Rinse with water only, starting 3–4 hours after (the time the channels take to close) · cleansers and makeup from the next morning · put off saunas and sweaty exercise for 3 days–1 week

The base of a depressed scar is held down by hard, badly healed fibrous tissue pulling from below. Cutting that tissue free is the work of a physical cutting method, not of heat — heat is a stimulus that makes tissue rebuild, not a force that cuts. Potenza's part is loading heat into the dermis around and beneath the scar so new collagen fills in. The two methods can be done back to back on the same day — one round of numbing covers both.

Side-by-side cross-sections of a pore right after treatment and 2–3 months later — needle-tip heat points sit in the dermis beside the pore wall at first, and over 2–3 months the surrounding collagen densifies and the pore gently tightens (individual results vary)

▲ New collagen fills in around the pore wall and tightens it — the change unfolds over 2–3 months

Potenza Agnes — Treating Lesions One by One

Apart from the two combinations, there is an Agnes configuration that treats small, localized lesions (problem spots that form one point at a time) one by one. A fine needle enters at the lesion, sending needle-tip heat into the causal tissue — a sebaceous gland, a sweat duct, or a keratin sac — to set (coagulate) it with heat. If the cause remains after squeezing, it tends to come back in the same spot; treating the root is what reduces recurrence. The needle and its heat reach only as far as the dermis.

Cross-section of skin — through a small bump raised on the surface, a single fine needle reaches the lesion's root in the dermis (an enlarged sebaceous gland in this drawing) with heat spreading only at the needle tip — the normal follicle beside it untouched, and the needle and heat reaching the dermis only, not the fat layer. The root differs by lesion: for syringoma it is a sweat duct, for milia a keratin sac

▲ One needle reaches the lesion's root and heats only at its tip (a sebaceous gland, as an example)

  • Acne that keeps coming back in the same spot
  • Syringoma — sweat ducts clustered into grainy bumps around the eyes
  • Sebaceous hyperplasia — small bumps with a dimpled center, from an enlarged oil gland
  • Milia — seed-like white grains of keratin trapped under the skin

Numbing cream goes on for 30–40 minutes, and deep, sensitive lesions — like syringoma near the eyes — get a local anesthetic added, based on the assessment. The pain is a shallow sting as the needle enters, then a brief zing and a heavy warmth the moment the heat reaches the root. Shallow milia often finish in 1–2 sessions; deep-rooted syringoma, sebaceous hyperplasia, and recurring acne are divided into 3–5 sessions at 3–4 week intervals to reduce the risk of scarring. The treatment steps and the results-and-recovery table above are for the two combinations.

Expected Reactions and Possible Side Effects

Common, temporary reactions — part of the normal response:

  • Redness from needle marks and heat — 1–3 days for the Pore Tip combination, 1–2 days for the Pumping Tip combination
  • Swelling is rare, and tends to settle within 1–3 days when it does occur

Anything beyond this is uncommon. If a reaction lasts longer than expected or worsens, contact us and we'll check it with you.

What We Check Beforehand

If any of these apply to you, let us know during your consultation. We postpone or adjust the timing.

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • An electronic device in the body, such as a pacemaker — radiofrequency can affect it, so we confirm first
  • Inflammation or wounds at the treatment area, or severe active acne — timing and intensity are set by the condition
  • A keloid tendency (scars that heal raised)
  • Aspirin or anticoagulants — needle marks and bruises can linger, so tell us in advance and we'll plan for it
  • Recent filler or skin boosters — filler waits a month, skin boosters 2–3 weeks. The needles enter the dermis and release heat, so the injected material settles first

How PECHE Clinic Does It

The combination is chosen from measured values. Pores, sebum, and texture aren't eyeballed — they're measurable. The 3D MetaVu scan checks each under its light source, and the combination and intensity are decided looking at the screen together.

We recommend only what's needed. This is a treatment that builds across sessions — and we tell you first what it can do (pores, scars, texture) and what it can't (hollowed volume, SMAS-layer sagging). We don't push same-day payment or packages — you're welcome to come in just for a consultation.

Pricing

Potenza cost depends on the area, the combination or lesion configuration, and the sessions. We set what's needed after your assessment, then give you a quote.

FAQ

Q1. Who performs the treatment? A: PECHE physicians who all work to the same combination, depth, and intensity standards, built from over 90,000 documented treatments. The standards stay the same even if your physician changes.

Q2. Which combination fits my concern? A: Enlarged pores, deep and firmly depressed scars, or rough texture point first to the Pore Tip combination; early scars with red marks remaining, thin and sensitized skin, or elasticity and fine-line concerns point first to the Pumping Tip combination. We decide together from the values measured at your assessment.

Q3. Can I have it together with a skin booster? A: The combination treatments already include a skin booster ingredient, so nothing extra is needed. If you're planning a separate injected skin booster, the spacing and order are set at the consultation.

Q4. Can I have it while acne is flaring? A: With severe active inflammation, the microneedles could disturb pus-filled, inflamed spots — calming it first is safer. The assessment sets the timing and intensity.

Q5. Can I have both combinations in one visit? A: One visit runs one combination across the full face, chosen by whichever concern is most pressing that day.
