HiloWave

HiloWave is a skin booster that injects a liquid blend of large-molecule and small-molecule hyaluronic acid (HA) into the dermis. The large molecules hold moisture and stay longer; the small molecules seep wide through the dermis. It contains no powder-type particles, and uses only a minimal amount of cross-linking agent (BDDE) — so it isn't a firmly tied gel like filler, but a flowing liquid. The result is moisture, a subtle sense of volume, and a light repair stimulus. It's placed at only 1–5 points per side of the face, so the number of injections is small.

Side-by-side cross-sections comparing three formulas in the dermis — fine solid particles of a PLA-type collagen injection scattered through the dermis, an ordinary cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler gel gathered as one volume-building mass, and HiloWave's liquid dual-molecular hyaluronic acid seeping evenly through the dermis; the magnified circles show solid particles, a tightly tied thread net, and long and short threads floating loosely

▲ From left: fine particles (PLA family) · a firmly cross-linked gel (ordinary HA filler) · liquid dual-molecular HA (HiloWave) · The magnified circles show each ingredient's particle and thread form — a difference of form (no particles, no clumping), not a ranking

When to Consider It

You want shallow hollows at the front cheekbones, outer cheeks, or smile-line area filled — but you were hesitant about fine-particle ingredients like PDLLA or PCL HiloWave contains liquid HA only, no fine particles. The liquid HA seeps into the dermis and subtly supports shallow hollows in the midface.

You want to treat texture and deep-seated dryness, in a way that doesn't leave injection marks for long It's placed at only 1–5 points per side, so the number of needle entries itself is small. Raised bump marks are rare, which makes returning to your day right after treatment easier.

You want your skin itself to fill out, rather than obvious volume This is not a push-and-fill approach. With only minimal cross-linking agent, the liquid doesn't sit as a firm mass — so there's little to feel with your fingers — and it spreads wide through the dermis, holding moisture and stimulating collagen production. The goal is skin that fills out, with a subtle sense of dimension coming back.

If a defined contour or a deep hollow is the goal, the volume-filler family may fit better; if skin repair itself is the goal, the repair-signal family may. We decide together, based on your assessment results.

How It's Done

1. 3D skin analysis A 3D MetaVu scan examines your texture, pores, fine lines, and tone under different light sources, and your facial contours and left–right balance in 3D. We add what you tell us in the consultation and decide on the treatment.

2. Treatment plan Looking at the scan together, we go over the injection points, the number of sessions, and the changes to expect — including the limits.

3. Numbing cream Applied and left to absorb for 30–40 minutes.

4. Authenticity check, then treatment The genuine product is opened in front of you, so you can confirm the product and the amount — then it's placed at 1–5 points per side of the face, into the dermis.

5. Soothing care The injection sites are soothed to finish. Needle marks settle within 1–2 days.

Side-by-side skin cross-sections comparing an injection method that places product through many closely spaced entries across a wide area, and HiloWave's method of entering at only a few points at the same depth, with the product spreading wide inside the dermis and the surface staying smooth

▲ Left: product divided across many entries (the hydration-glow and repair injection families) · Right: HiloWave — a few entry points, with the product spreading wide inside the dermis. The depth is the same; what differs is the number of entries and how far it spreads

Results and Recovery

Item Details
Ingredient and form A blend of high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid — no animal-derived ingredients · minimal cross-linking agent (BDDE) · liquid · no fine particles
Injection method 1–5 points per side of the face — a few entry points, placed so the liquid spreads wide inside the dermis
Main areas The midface — front cheekbones, outer cheeks, smile-line area
When results show Deep-seated dryness, texture, and glow improve first, around weeks 1–2 → the sense of volume builds gradually after 2–3 sessions (no big change after one session is normal)
How long it lasts About 4–6 months per session · about 1 to 1.5 years after 3 sessions (individual results vary)
Sessions 3 sessions at 3–4 week intervals as the base → one maintenance session every 6 months after
Pain The sting of the needle going in, plus a dull pressure as the product spreads — with few entry points, the stings themselves are few
Pain control Numbing cream (30–40 minutes) as standard · Air Nox (inhaled calming while you remain conscious) available · no IV sedation needed
Downtime Needle marks and redness for 1–2 days · raised bump marks are rare · bruises, if any, for 3–7 days
Aftercare A light water-only rinse from 3–4 hours after · cleanser and makeup gently from the next morning

Moisture and texture come first; the sense of volume arrives slowly as sessions build. The size of the change and how long it lasts vary from person to person.

Expected Reactions and Possible Side Effects

Common, temporary reactions — part of the normal response to injection:

  • Needle marks and redness for 1–2 days
  • Temporary swelling
  • Bruises, if any, fading within 3–7 days

Raised bump marks are rare, thanks to the small number of entry points.

Anything beyond this is uncommon. If a reaction lasts longer than expected or worsens, contact us and we'll check it with you.

What We Check Beforehand

If any of these apply to you, let us know during your consultation. We postpone or adjust the timing.

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Inflammation or active acne in the treatment area — we proceed after it clears
  • Keloid-prone skin (scars that heal raised and thickened)
  • Aspirin or blood thinners — bruising can be heavier, so tell us in advance and we'll plan for it
  • Planning a lifting treatment as well — on the same day, the lifting goes first and HiloWave after. If you've had HiloWave first, wait at least 2–3 weeks before radiofrequency lifting and at least 2–4 weeks before microwave lifting. Hyaluronic acid is heat-sensitive: strong heat before it has settled breaks it down early.

How PECHE Clinic Does It

We treat by standards built on 90,000+ documented treatments. With few injection points, where the product goes and how much determines the result. Area-by-area injection standards built from over 90,000 treatments mean every PECHE physician works to the same criteria — whoever treats you.

The same hollowing can have different causes. Which family fits depends on whether the cause is moisture, dermal density, or deep volume. The 3D scan shows your texture, pores, fine lines, and facial contours; we add the concerns you describe and decide together whether HiloWave is the right fit. If it isn't, we point you to the family that is.

We open the genuine product in front of you and show you the amount. With injectables, what goes in and how much is the baseline of trust. The genuine product is opened in front of you, so you can see for yourself which product is being prepared and in what amount.

Our prep room is behind glass. You can watch treatment preparation and hygiene management through the glass wall from the waiting area.

We only recommend what you need. We tell you first what this treatment does (moisture, texture, a subtle sense of volume in the midface) and what it doesn't (defined contours, deep hollows, skin repair itself). No same-day payment pressure, no package push — you're welcome to come in just for a consultation.

FAQ

Q1. Who performs the treatment? A: PECHE physicians who all work to the same area-by-area injection standards, built from over 90,000 documented treatments. With few injection points, placement and amount determine the result — and those are set by your assessment results and these standards, not by feel. The same standards apply across physicians and sessions.

Q2. I'm worried about nodules. A: HiloWave is a particle-free liquid hyaluronic acid, so the kind of nodule that forms when particles clump together doesn't apply here. As with any injection, though, temporary swelling or bruising can occur — we go over this with you in the consultation.

Q3. Can I have this instead of a volume filler? A: The purposes differ. Volume fillers place firmly cross-linked HA in the deep layers to fill space and build contour. HiloWave — a liquid HA made with only a minimal amount of cross-linking agent — seeps wide through the dermis, working on moisture and texture while adding a subtle sense of volume. If a defined contour is your goal, the filler family is the right fit. The aim here is skin that fills out — not a change in the shape of your face.

Q4. Fewer points means fewer marks? Can I go to work the next day? A: With 1–5 injection points per side, raised bump marks are rare. Needle marks and redness last about 1–2 days, and you can gently apply makeup from the next morning. Bruises, if they occur, can last 3–7 days — tell us in advance if you have an important event coming up.

Q5. Can I just come in for a consultation first? A: Yes. You're welcome to come in just for the assessment and consultation, then leave. Decide after you've heard whether your concern is on the moisture-and-texture side or the volume side, and how far this treatment reaches. We won't push extra sessions or ask for same-day payment.
