Juvelook — PECHE Clinic, Gangnam Station
A skin booster of fine PDLLA particles that wakes up your skin's own collagen production · Skin for texture, Volume for hollows · Right by Gangnam Station Exit 4
Juvelook
Juvelook is a skin booster that injects fine particles of PDLLA — a biodegradable polymer — into the dermis, stimulating your skin to produce its own collagen while the particles slowly break down. Rather than filling with an ingredient, it wakes up collagen production, so the change appears gradually over 2–3 months.
Two products are used to match your concern: Skin, which refines texture and fine lines, and Volume, which fills hollowed cheeks.

When to Consider It
- Pores look large and your skin texture has turned rough (Skin)
- Fine lines are starting and firmness is slipping (Skin)
- Hollowed or flattened cheeks are making you look tired (Volume)
- The folds beside your mouth are starting to look deeper (Volume)
- You want volume that recovers gradually, over time
If texture and hollowing are both concerns, Skin and Volume can be combined. Which configuration fits is decided together, based on your assessment results.
The Skin and Volume Lines
| Product | Injection layer | What it mainly treats |
|---|---|---|
| Juvelook Skin Booster | The shallow dermis | Texture · pores · fine lines · overall firmness |
| Juvelook Volume (Lenisna) | The deep dermis, down to the boundary with the fat layer | Hollowed cheeks · volume recovery for deep lines |
The two are injected at different depths, so they can be done in a single session.

How It's Done
1. 3D skin analysis A 3D MetaVu scan shows your texture, pores, and fine lines, and your facial contours (hollowing). This becomes the basis for choosing Skin, Volume, or both.
2. Treatment plan Looking at the scan together, we go over the configuration, areas, sessions, and the changes to expect — including the limits.
3. Product preparation (hydration) PDLLA comes as a powder, so it goes through a hydration step — dissolved thoroughly in saline following a set protocol. You can watch the preparation through the glass wall from the waiting area.
4. Numbing cream Applied and left to absorb for 20–30 minutes.
5. Treatment and soothing A fine needle places the product across the planned areas, with the depth and amount adjusted step by step to match each layer. During the session, we talk you through the injection depth, amount, and pace, adjusting together — then finish with soothing care.
Results and Recovery
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Ingredient and action | Fine PDLLA particles — stimulate collagen production · the particles break down and absorb gradually |
| Product lines | Skin (shallow layer · texture) · Volume (deep layer · hollows) · can be combined |
| When results show | Not immediate — gradual over 2–3 months; collagen formation runs over 2–20 weeks |
| How long it lasts | 1–2 years after the base course (individual results vary) |
| Sessions | 3 sessions at 3–4 week intervals as the base → 1–2 maintenance sessions every 6–12 months after |
| Pain | Usually little to no raw, burning soreness · because the product is placed densely across the face, you feel a repeated light prick as the needle enters and a dull pressure as the product pushes in |
| Pain control | Numbing cream (20–30 minutes) as standard · we ask about your pain level during the session and adjust intensity and pace |
| Downtime | Mostly 1–2 days — needle marks (small red dots) for a few days · redness for 1–3 hours right after · light swelling until the next morning · bruises are rare, and recover within 1–2 weeks if they occur |
| Aftercare | Basic skincare gently from the same evening · color makeup and sunscreen from the next day · skip alcohol, saunas, and hard exercise for a week |
This is not a treatment that fills instantly. The particles take 2–4 weeks to settle and start the collagen signal, which is why sessions are stacked at 3–4 week intervals to match. If the gap is too short — within 2 weeks — the next round overlaps before the last particles have settled and the risk of nodules rises; if it stretches past 8 weeks, the cumulative effect is interrupted.
Expected Reactions and Possible Side Effects
Common, temporary reactions — part of the normal response to injection; mostly settled in 1–2 days:
- Needle marks (small red dots) for a few days
- Redness for 1–3 hours right after · light swelling until the next morning
- Bruises are rare — and recover within 1–2 weeks if they occur
A small lump (nodule) can form — most ease with time; if one lasts beyond 2 weeks, come in and we'll check it.
Anything beyond this is uncommon. If a reaction lasts longer than expected or worsens, contact us and we'll check it with you.
What We Check Beforehand
If any of these apply to you, let us know during your consultation. We postpone or adjust the timing.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Active acne or a heavily damaged skin barrier in the treatment area — we proceed after recovery
- Keloid-prone skin (scars that heal raised and thickened)
- Aspirin, blood thinners, or omega-3 — we advise stopping 1 week before treatment to limit bruising; never stop prescription medication on your own — tell us in the consultation
- A big presentation or shoot coming up — downtime is mostly 1–2 days, but a rare bruise can last 1–2 weeks, so we plan at least a week of margin
How PECHE Clinic Does It
We treat by standards built on 90,000+ documented treatments. With Juvelook, the depth and distribution of the injection determine both the result and the safety (nodules). Area-and-depth standards built from over 90,000 treatments mean every PECHE physician works to the same criteria — whoever treats you.
The configuration comes from measurements. Whether your concern is texture or hollowing changes the share of Skin and Volume. The 3D scan shows your texture, pores, fine lines, and contours; we look at the screen together and decide.

▲ We look at the measurements together
Hydration follows a set protocol — and the prep room is behind glass. One main cause of nodules is powder entering the skin before it has fully dissolved. So hydration follows a set protocol, and the preparation is open to view through the glass wall from the waiting area.

We communicate and adjust during the session. You're awake throughout, so we talk you through the injection depth, amount, and pace as we go, asking about your pain level and adjusting together. It's how we reduce the other cause of nodules — injection error.
We only recommend what you need. We tell you first what this treatment does (texture, firmness, natural volume recovery) and what it doesn't (instant large volume, deep sagging). No same-day payment pressure, no package push — you're welcome to come in just for a consultation.
Pricing
The cost of Juvelook depends on the configuration (Skin, Volume, or both), the amount, and the sessions. We set the plan after your assessment and quote from there.

FAQ
Q1. Who performs the treatment? A: PECHE physicians who all work to the same area-and-depth injection standards, built from over 90,000 documented treatments. With Juvelook, injection depth and amount determine both the result and the safety, so they're set by your assessment results and these standards — not by feel. The same standards apply across physicians and sessions.
Q2. I'm worried about lumps (nodules). A: Nodules have two main causes — powder entering before it has fully dissolved, and injection at the wrong depth or amount. So we hydrate by a set protocol, keep Skin and Volume to their proper depths, and talk through the depth and amount with you during the session. Most lumps that do form ease with time; if one lasts beyond 2 weeks, come in and we'll check it.
Q3. How do I choose between Skin and Volume? A: By the location and depth of your concern. Texture, pores, and fine lines point to Skin; hollowed cheeks and deep lines point to Volume. We confirm it during your assessment and decide together — and if both concerns are present, the two can be combined in one session.
Q4. Can I go to work the next day? A: Downtime is mostly 1–2 days. Needle marks are small red dots that fade within days, and color makeup is fine from the next day. For a big presentation or shoot, it's safest to plan at least a week of margin.
Q5. Can I just come in for a consultation first? A: Yes. You're welcome to come in just for the assessment and consultation, then leave. Decide after you've heard your measurements, the changes to expect, and what this treatment won't solve. We won't push extra sessions or ask for same-day payment.
